Sara Horowitz Har-Tzion was born in Rishon Le Zion, a twin to Avraham. She studied at the local elementary school (Haviv) in the village. She graduated the Levinsky seminar and continued her studies at the Sorbonne in Paris. She volunteered as a kindergarten teacher in a Jewish kindergarten in Iraq.
She worked as a kindergarten teacher in Rishon Le Zion 1928- 1933 and later in Herzlia.
She participated in the opening of the Hebrew University on Mt.
Scopus singing in the choir.
She participated in a running race in the first Maccabia.
She established Moshav Rishpon together with her husband.
In 1950 they moved to Kibbutz Beth Alfa where she was involved, among other things, in education in particular. When she retired she volunteered to teach hebrew and assist needy families. She died and was buried in Beth Alfa.
