Leah Davidson was born in Rishon Lezion. At the age of four she was orphaned from her mother and grew up at her grandparents', the family of Rabbi Yosef Halevi who served as rabbi of the winery for about 50 years. She was the only one of the rabi's daughters who learned in the elementary school ("Chaviv") in the Township.
Until her marriage she worked in packaging where she met Avner Davidson who later became her husband.
She finished a First Aid course in MADA and as a volunteer she participated in shifts. For short periods she was a member of WITZO and Bnei Brit.
Together with her husband she played the mandolin in the Township's band, which was a sequal band to the Orchestra.
