And then the first teacher was brought in, "a Hevroni", in order to teach the young children. And after him, other teachers, a long chain of men of spirit and vision.
The first of the teachers of the first Hebrew school, later the "Haviv School", "were not people with academic degrees or diploma graduates of teachers' seminars, but intellectuals and visionaries who wanted to cure the people of their Diaspora defects.
